Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)
is a fatty acid that is proving to be extremely important to human health and may reduce the risk of cancer or help in fighting
cancer. Direct grazed green pasture beef is highest in CLA. Grass finished beef has five (5) times the amount
of CLA as grain fed beef. Beta Carotene
(Vitamin A) is also much higher in grass finished animals and has been found to be an antioxidant that helps prevent
cancer. Omega - 3 and CLA
(good guys fatty acid) are anti-carcinogenic (cancer) and anti-atherogenic (stroke, heart attack) and levels of both are elevated
in meat from grazing ruminants, and is the most potent naturally occurring anti-carcinogen presently known, according to studies
in research laboratory systems. CLA block turmor growth and instead of promoting obesity, it reduces it; it stimulates
the immune system.
